60/ 100
Working but losing leads
Niptao readiness score across brand, design, copy, page structure, SEO, AI search, and lead capture.
🎨Brand identity
65/100
refresh

Identity and story are clear; visual treatment feels 2022 and undersells the IIT Delhi + AI-exit credibility.

Design & layout
55/100
refresh

Functional and clean but stylistically generic — looks like every other Indian dev shop, not like a premium boutique.

✍️Copy & messaging
65/100
tighten

Clear and credible but leans on generic agency phrases instead of the genuinely differentiated Karnal/founder story.

📐Page structure
60/100
restructure

Missing H1s on key pages and pages are content-dense without clear visual hierarchy guiding the reader.

🔍SEO fundamentals
60/100
tune

Strong fundamentals but every page is missing its title tag and all images have empty alt text.

🤖AI search readiness
70/100
strengthen

Excellent llms.txt and Organization markup already in place; just needs Service, FAQ, and CaseStudy schemas added.

📞Lead capture
55/100
strengthen

Contact form works but a placeholder phone number, no calendar booking, and weak hero CTA all leak warm leads.

The summary

Short version

Hcode.tech looks the part of a serious software company — you have a real portfolio, named leadership, client testimonials from CEOs at YC-backed startups, and a thoughtful 'why Karnal' story. For a B2B audience that's checking you out before a discovery call, the credibility is there.

But the homepage is painfully slow to appear on a phone — about 10 seconds before a visitor sees anything, and nearly 15 seconds for the main image to finish loading. Most prospective clients will not wait that long. You're also missing the basic page titles that Google shows in search results, which quietly hurts your rankings and click-throughs.

The single biggest thing holding the site back is page weight: 4.5 MB of code and images on the homepage, with about 600 KB of unused JavaScript dragging everything down. Fix the speed, fix the missing titles, and you'll convert more of the traffic you're already getting.

What's already working

What to improve

Speed & weight

4 issues
  • The mobile homepage takes 10.3 seconds before anything appears and 14.9 seconds for the main image to load — Google's own recommendation is under 2.5 seconds. Most visitors on a phone will give up before your site renders.
  • Total homepage weight is 4.5 MB on mobile — roughly 3× heavier than it needs to be. The single biggest culprit is 604 KB of unused JavaScript being shipped to every visitor.
  • There's also 51 KB of unused CSS styling code being loaded that the page never uses. Cleaning this up alone could shave 4+ seconds off the load time.
  • Images make up most of the weight: the homepage loads 107 images. Compressing them and converting to modern formats (WebP) would dramatically reduce data costs for visitors on Indian mobile networks.
🔍

SEO fundamentals

4 issues
  • Every single page is missing its <title> tag — the blue clickable headline Google shows in search results. Right now Google has to guess what to display, which directly hurts both your rankings and your click-through rate.
  • The About page has zero H1 headings (the main page heading) and the Technologies page also has none — search engines use H1s to understand what each page is about.
  • All 72 images on the About page have empty alt text (and similarly on every other page — 100+ images on the homepage). Alt text describes images to Google and to visually-impaired visitors. Missing alt text means those images contribute nothing to your SEO.
  • The contact page meta description is just 30 characters ('Let's scale your team together') — too short to earn a click in Google results. Aim for 140-160 characters that explain why someone should reach out.
🤖

AI search readiness

4 issues
  • Your llms.txt file is already in place and well-written — this is a real lead over competitors and is exactly what AI assistants read when summarising your company.
  • Structured data (the machine-readable 'fact sheet' for Google and ChatGPT) currently only includes Organization, Person, and WebSite types — you're missing 'Service' and 'ProfessionalService' markup, which is how AI tools match you to queries like 'best React Native development agency'.
  • No FAQ structured data on the Services page even though you have a clear FAQ section there — adding this markup makes your answers eligible to appear directly in Google and ChatGPT results.
  • Case studies have no CaseStudy or CreativeWork markup — AI search engines can't easily tell which clients you've worked with or what outcomes you delivered.
🛡

Trust signals

4 issues
  • The contact page shows the phone number as +91-9876543210 — that's a placeholder ('1234567890' equivalent). A real prospect spotting this will assume the site isn't actively maintained.
  • No social proof numbers near the top of the homepage — '40+ engineers, 35+ clients, 9 years in business' are buried in paragraphs. These belong as a hero strip a visitor sees in the first 3 seconds.
  • Privacy Policy, Terms, Refund and Cancellation policies are linked in the footer but it's worth verifying they're actually populated — B2B procurement teams check these before signing contracts.
  • No 'last updated' dates on blog posts visible in the meta, and no visible refresh dates on case studies. Buyers wonder whether the content is current — adding dates builds confidence the company is active.

What we learned about your business

Built from the intake you shared and the live read of your site. If anything below is off, reply to the WhatsApp thread and we'll fix it before the build kicks off.

What they do

  • Custom software development — Bespoke software built to client requirements.
  • Web development — Responsive web products and full-stack builds.
  • Mobile app development — Native and cross-platform mobile applications.
  • MERN stack development — React, Node, Express, MongoDB application builds.
  • Python development — Backend and algorithm-heavy Python projects.
  • Java development — Enterprise Java engineering.
  • UX/UI design — Interface and experience design for web and mobile.
  • Blockchain development — Blockchain-based application engineering.

Who they serve

  • B2B clients commissioning custom software builds.
  • Teams needing algorithm-heavy backend work.
  • Teams needing interactive responsive web products.

Where they operate

  • Channels: hcode.tech website, blog, case studies.

Positioning note

  • On-time delivery with transparent communication — stated commitment to delivery cadence and client visibility.
  • Healthy work environment — meritocracy and work-life balance cited as how the team is run.
  • Broad project range — from algorithm-heavy backends to interactive responsive web products, per case studies page.

Copy & messaging

The copy does the basic job — it explains what Hcode does, who it's for, and surfaces strong proof in the form of testimonials. But it relies heavily on generic agency phrasing ('on-time delivery', 'transparent communication', 'top talent') that every competitor also uses. The site would convert better if it leaned harder into the unique angles that already exist: the Karnal-not-Bengaluru story, the IIT Delhi founders, the prior AI exit, and quantified client outcomes.

💬Headline clarity✓ pass

'Technology Services — When you partner with us, you get our team of developers acting as your engineering team' is clear about what Hcode does and who it's for. Could be tighter, but it works.

🎯Call-to-action✓ pass

'Get In Touch', 'Know More', and 'Hire Now' buttons are present throughout. The contact form is well-structured. Main weakness: too many CTAs competing — pick one primary action per page.

Tone

Confident, professional, slightly formal — appropriate for B2B but reads like 2020-era agency copy in places, less punchy than modern competitors like Toptal or Crowdbotics.

Content gaps

Things most businesses in your category have on their website, but yours is missing:

  • Pricing or pricing ranges — even 'starts at $X/developer/month' would help qualify leads
  • A clear engagement timeline ('first developer onboarded in 2 weeks')
  • Specific outcomes/metrics in case studies (revenue lift, time saved, downtime avoided) — Sandals 'booking time 23 → 3 min, 45% sales lift' is the gold standard, do this everywhere
  • A dedicated AI Integration Services page (it's in the menu but reads as a thin offering)
  • Team photos or office photos beyond the four leaders — the 'we're a 40+ person team' story is told but not shown
  • Comparison or buying guide ('Team-as-a-Service vs Developer-as-a-Service: which is right for you?')
