TERAFAC

About Terafac

Shop-floor machines deserve better intelligence.

We started with welding because the pain is acute and the ROI is clear. Skilled welders are scarce, robot programmers are scarcer, and most fabrication shops run with margins that don’t forgive a wasted shift. Vision systems that programme the robot themselves change the maths.

WELD-T is the first product. The roadmap is broader — wherever a shop-floor machine needs to see, decide, and act without a specialist in the loop.

01 · The founders

Engineers first, founders second.

Twelve years of combined factory-floor experience and an AI lab. The pair behind Terafac have shipped industrial automation in Europe and India and built consumer AI products at scale.

AS

Co-founder & CEO

Anubhi Khandelwal

Nine years at Siemens UK in industrial automation. Hands-on experience commissioning lines across India, the UK and continental Europe before starting Terafac in 2021. Carries the operational empathy that lets WELD-T design fit a real shop floor, not a lab.

At Terafac, leads product, customers and the company.

AK

Co-founder & CTO

Amrit Singh

IIT Delhi. Founded a fashion-rental startup acquired by Craftsvilla, then ran a Gen-AI lab pre-Terafac. Builds the vision and learning stack that drives WELD-T and the Smart Learning labs.

At Terafac, leads engineering, AI research and the platform.

02 · The team

29 engineers in Chandigarh.

Computer-vision researchers, robotics engineers, controls and firmware specialists. We hire for shop-floor instincts as much as for algorithms.

03 · Where we are

Plot 57, Industrial Area Phase I.

Our office and assembly bay are in the Chandigarh industrial belt. Clients walk in, watch a part run on a real cell, and leave with a quote.

04 · What’s next

Welding first. Other shop-floor machines next.

The vision platform under WELD-T generalises. Cutting, finishing, inspection — anywhere a shop-floor machine needs to see and decide, the same stack applies. Welding is where we’re proving it.
