Most small businesses don't need a "platform." They need a website that stays alive, looks current, and shows up when someone searches for them.
The website-builder industry has spent 20 years convincing small business owners that the answer is a better editor. Wix. Squarespace. WordPress. Drag-and-drop. AI-assisted templates. Each generation promises to make site-building easier — and each generation produces sites that owners log into twice a year and then quietly forget about.
The actual problem isn't the editor. It's that nobody has time to be their own web team. Updating hours. Swapping a hero image. Adding a Diwali offer. Writing meta tags. Fixing mobile spacing. Posting a new blog. Adding structured data so ChatGPT can cite the business. None of those are hard. They're just an endless drip of small jobs that don't fit between Monday-morning operations and Friday-evening close.
So we asked: what if you didn't have to do any of it? What if you could just message someone — and the someone happened to be an AI agency that already knew your site inside-out — and it got done?
That's Niptao. You don't log in. You don't learn the editor. You don't queue up edits for the freelancer who replies in three days. You send a WhatsApp message like you would to a colleague, and your site updates in minutes.
Why now
Two shifts made Niptao possible in 2026 that wouldn't have worked in 2023:
One: AI agents got good enough to run the whole loop. Niptao's edits, builds, migrations, and content updates run end-to-end on Claude + our own tooling — every site as a workspace, every change as a small atomic task. The AI does the work. Humans only show up in support, when you ask for them. Five years ago this was a fantasy; now it ships.
Two: AI search rewrote SEO. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Gemini are increasingly where people ask questions about businesses. The websites that show up in those answers are the ones with structured data, llms.txt, entity-rich content, and FAQ schema — markup most builders skip. Niptao makes that the default.
Where we're focused
India only through October 2026. INR pricing, Indian SMB use cases, WhatsApp as the primary surface, GST-compliant invoicing, support hours that match Indian business hours. We'll go global later, but only after India is locked in.
Within India, we're focused on businesses that already have a website (or know they need one) and are tired of either maintaining it themselves or paying an agency by the change. Galleries. Coaching institutes. Lifestyle retail. Professional services. Restaurants. Wedding photographers. The long tail of services-and-storefronts businesses.
Who's behind it
Niptao is owned and built by HCode Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a Karnal-based software studio. Our sister agency Publifai handles the work Niptao doesn't — performance marketing, ad creative, custom development, full marketing department. Same team, different surfaces.
